The 17th Annual Jay County Heritage Festival, which was held on September 28 and 29, was a very successful celebration of Jay County as the "only Jay in the USA." Many thanks to all who served on the festival committee, providing funding, volunteered to help in any way, or attended the event. A large crowd filled the museum and grounds on Saturday. Sunday began with many visitors, but rain in the afternoon sent them scurrying toward home.
Those who volunteered to help with the Heritage Festival were invited to attend a light supper host-ed by members of the JCHS board of directors. Over 60 people at-
tended and were treated to hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, veggies, and cake.
The Board of Directors appreciates all of those who helped with the festival in any way. Without these volunteers, it would not be possible to provide this educational and entertaining weekend for our community.
