The Jay County Fair was officially organized in 1872. A special history book to chronicle the first 150 years of the Jay County Fair is being put together by the Jay County Historical Society with assistance from Debi Gillespie and other volunteers.
The books are scheduled to go to print in April and should be available by mid-June. They will contain 124 pages of information and photographs and will sell for $10 each.
Books will be available at the Jay County Historical Museum, Strohl Appliances, and at the museum’s booth at the Jay County Fair. The museum will also mail them for an extra postage fee.
Watch your Journal and the museum’s Facebook page for future announcements about this publication. It will be a wonderful keepsake of our great Jay County Fair!
