This year’s Heritage Festival, to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, will highlight the 150 years of the Jay County Fair. As in the past, there will be food, entertainment, displays, reenactors, crafters, and vendors, and will include many free activities for the children. Admission to the festival is free.

Letters have been sent to vendors, crafters, and reenactors who have participated in the past. Several have al-ready replied that they will be attending, including Native Americans with the tipi and the blacksmith.

If you or anyone you know is interested in participating, please contact the museum for a participation form. Tented spaces, tables, and chairs are provided. If merchandise is being sold, the cost is $25 for a 10’ x 10’ space, $45 for a 10’ x 20’ space, and $25 for each extra vendor in the same space. There is no charge for those displaying or demonstrating but not selling.
